Distasteful,
Shameful.

But cold [and]
Fix[ed]

See[ing] nothing
To the
Skyline.

Run.

Up, down, over,
And unhappy

This had to
Happen to
Me?

I was not
Sure. [It]
Went on
And on.

Never repeated
I wish that
[it] stopped.

And cr[ied],

“I can’t.”

Running? Working out, overcoming inner weakness, minor pains. Just run. Just run

Over my head.
You dumped
Me hard.

It was impersonal;
didn’t wait to see
[Me] hit.

I was ragged,
Mean. And
Felt poor,
Shaved, blue,
Sharp.

[I] need sleep.

Speak to me!

I notice my mind
Sneeze,
[Go] cold.

Shoved under.

He Shall Rule

On the northern
Prairies.
With thousand[s] [of]
Other victims

We slept and
Ate outdoors,
The Pole five
Miles north.

Before daybreak
A blaring out
To wake the dead.
Charging down,

Marauding.

Startling to
[Be] shipping out
Early.

Packing,
Take along
Photographs.

I was
Confounded
[But], I could
Cut it
I suspect.

I’ll find out.
