A form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck.
I’ve been playing games as far back as I can recall. I imagine we all have. Play is one of the things that defines us as human. As Friedrich Schiller said, “Man only plays when in the full meaning of the word he is a man, and he is only completely a man when he plays.”
Not including the innumerable games I created as a child: quickly created, played and forgotten. It was only until recently that I moved from consumer of games to creator. You can find all my attempts at game making here.
